There are a few reasons why you are experiencing lower back pain. Lower back pain happens for different reasons.
The most common is improper lifting. Back muscles get strained if you improperly lift objects instead of bending your knees to take the weight. Weight could be another issue as it presses down on the spine and lower regions of the body.
Lack of exercise is also considered a main reason. When you don’t stretch your muscles regularly they become stiff. Loosening them through unusual activity causes them to quickly stretch.
There are treatment options for lower back pain. Although a chiropractor can help you relive the pain, there are some forms of lower back pain treatment you can do at home. For instance, take a hot shower to loosen the muscles. Apply a warm compress to the affected area.
Also, if it’s not too painful, try some yoga. Many positions in this ancient exercise gently stretch muscles and tendons to relax them. If these methods fail, or your back pain is chronic, consider calling a chiropractic practice.
