Depending on what kind of sprain you have, Foot injury treatment will be different. The four main types are famous turf toe, mid-foot sprain, normal ankle sprain, and high ankle sprain. Immediate treatment helps reduce healing time.
This treatment is often called RICE, which stands for Rest, Ice, Elevation, and Compression. Compression just means wrapping the foot in a long bandage. Get X-rays when possible to determine that nothing has broken.

Wrap the injury so it’s compressed. Ice for 15 minutes. Elevate the foot. Take an over-the-counter painkiller like ibuprofen or naproxen to reduce both pain and swelling.

Treating Normal Ankle Sprain
